Secret, after being in his cocoon for months, emerges as his adult form. The members of his host colony don’t immediately recognize him, though, so they are initially very hostile. Thankfully, the melvi queen Minerva recognizes him quickly and is able to explain to the others who this is. Now, the melvi have a sworn protector! Someone who is gentle and kind to their young, but vicious and ruthless to any invaders looking to steal their food supply.

this video has been in wip hell for a LONG while. i finished the animation itself in adobe animate, but then i stopped using that. so all i had was an export to hopefully chroma key in a background. i think it went well! its not perfect, the quality itself leaves something to be desired imo, but it’s done, so i’ll take it. i dont even care that its not monetizable…
