Bill’s Lesson on Preston Blair CLIP

From Plymptoons.

We have a fresh new video to add to Bill’s series of lessons, Preston Blair being a main staple in all of his classes.

If you’ve been a Guard Dog Member on Patreon for a while, you’ve may have already seen this iconic yellow book make a few cameos already in Bill Plympton’s School of Animation videos that have been releasing on a monthly basis.

This specific book featured in the video is focused on a variety of unique and iconic character designs, one of the most notable (and studio favorite) is "Red Hot Riding Hood" Directed by Tex Avery (1943). It’s so important for us to study our predecessors in Animation and continue their legacy by applying their techniques, whether staying traditional or putting your own unique spin, the best way to learn is to keep on drawin’!

Thank you to all of our Patrons for your continued support, we hope you enjoyed another fun art lesson with Bill and we will see you in the next one!
