It’s 8:34pm on October 31st, Halloween night, when you’re suddenly awoken by a loud alarm coming from your TV.

Seems like you fell asleep on the couch watching old horror movies, though the usual program has been interrupted for some weird PSA. Might aswell call it a night and go to bed, it’s not like Eastridge County is bustling with folks trick-or-treating all night.

As you get up to turn off whatever this is, you hear a strange knocking on your windows. Maybe a trick-or-treater who’s gotten lost? Wasn’t there something about a curfew tonight? Eh, whatever. Still sleepy, you make your way to the front door. Apparently there’s some kid still on the lookout for treats.

As you open the door however, something doesn’t seem quite right..

This short Fan Animation based on Dreams of an Insomniac by @Pastraspec was an experiment to test out my abilities in Adobe Animate and After Effects. I really loved the two volumes of DOAI so far and am looking forward to Pastra’s upcoming movie for it! Although the rigging process was even more complicated for Clyde, I love how it all came together when compositing. Hope y’all enjoy this little Veldigun attack!
