Nicholas (born: October 11, 2000 [age 24]), better known online as Socksfor1, or just Socks, is a Canadian-American gaming and vlog YouTuber who joined the platform on Nov 21, 2014. He used to often dress up as an orange astronaut, which is his channel mascot, other than the rainbow sock.

He is known for finding and putting mods in Minecraft for videos he titles "I defeated the hardest bosses in Minecraft", "Minecraft Skyblock, but I downloaded every single mod I could find" etc. He also has multiple other channels that he posts on regularly, like "Socksfor2", which is used for games like Raft and others that fans suggest, "Socksfor3", which is uses for Roblox videos, "SockReacts", which is uses for reaction videos, "SocksStudios", which is where he posts animated videos about stories he and his friends make up, and there are more channels he doesn’t post on anymore, like "SocksVods", which was used for Past streams on his SMP called the "SocksSMP", which is rumored to have future seasons, "SocksShorts" which was used for YouTube shorts, but he started posting shorts on his main channel, leaving SockShorts to rot. There are some channels that he made in the end of September 2023, "Socks", which is used for IRL videos, and "Socks After Dark", which is where he posts stuff from recent videos on other channels that might get him demonitized, like swearing, and mature jokes. He also had a Minecraft server called socks.gg. He hit #1 trending on October 29, 2020.
