Bill on BoomTown CLIP

From Plymptoons.

The very first film that Bill Plympton had ever animated on was "Boom Town", and this project became absolutely pivotal to the future of his career, where he started as an Illustrator, then interned to learn the process of animation production.

In this clip, Bill takes us on a trip down memory lane of what his experience was like learning animation at that time period, finding alternative education outside of a traditional art school, and of course, his relationships with the people who taught him, like the late Jules Feiffer. Many thanks to him, and the production staff on BoomTown who provided the stepping stones for our studio to get to where it is today.
