From Plymptoons.
Continuing his series, Bill does another breakdown of one of his favorite Illustrator’s – A.B. Frost.
In this video, he stresses the importance of expression and how it isn’t just limited to the face, but overall body language in a character. This particular story follows a cat in a series of unfortunate events, running through a large home, and frightening the various members of the household in unique ways, showing a variety of different reactions from a range of personality types.
Each illustration contains movement in a single image – From character pose, to the draping of fabric; both funny, dramatic, and sometimes a bit over-the-top, it’s very easy to see why Bill would gravitate to this type of artwork and how it reflects in the films he’s made.
