The sixth film in Bill Plympton’s Oscar-nominated ‘Guard Dog’ series, in which our plucky hero – the Guard Dog – has a new occupation: Patrolling our airports sniffing for "unregulated goods". You know that’s not going to end well.

Regarded as the "King of Indie Animation", Bill Plympton made this film by hand-drawing every frame himself, and it was then colored using Prismacolor Pencils (his favorite coloring tool, other than digital)

The titular "Guard Dog" started because Bill saw a little dog barking in Central Park while he was sitting on a bench enjoying the weather. The spark of inspiration hit, and has now resulted in six short films, fan compilations, and of course, a variety of awards.

As it stands in the current moment of this post, this is the last film in the series, however, there is still room in the future for a new one to be put into production – So make sure to subscribe and follow our socials for the latest updates!
